This is a grant-in-aid college affiliated to Gujarat University, hence it follows all the rules, regulations and syllabi of Gujarat University for the Faculty of Arts. At present the college admits students as per online and offline system of the Gujarat University.
As per current rules, the student studies for and clears 6 semesters for the degree. This college offers Majors/ Core subjects in the Arts faculty as below:
Gujarati, Hindi, Sociology, Economics, History, Geography. The students will also be studying for subsidiary, second subsidiary, foundation and soft skills papers as per University structure.
The choice of the Core and Subject Elective-I & II offered by the college is as per the following combinations or groups for BA Sem 1. The Core subject will be carried forward for all six semesters, the Elective -1 will continue till semester -4 and Elective-2 will continue till semester 2 only.
