This is a grant-in-aid college affiliated to Gujarat University, hence it follows all the rules, regulations and syllabi of Gujarat University for the Faculty of Arts. At present the college admits students as per online and offline system of the Gujarat University.

B.A.Programme

As per current rules, the student studies for and clears 6 semesters for the degree. This college offers Majors/ Core subjects in the Arts faculty as below:

Gujarati, Hindi, Sociology, Economics, History, Geography. The students will also be studying for subsidiary, second subsidiary, foundation and soft skills papers as per University structure.

The choice of the Core and Subject Elective-I & II offered by the college is as per the following combinations or groups for BA Sem 1. The Core subject will be carried forward for all six semesters, the Elective -1 will continue till semester -4 and Elective-2 will continue till semester 2 only.

BA Home Science

First Semester HOME SCIENCE

The student opting for Home Science stream will be studying five papers of Home Science as Core/Major, Subsidiary and Second Subsidiary. The other four papers will be English, Classical language, Soft Skills and Foundation. The nine papers are as under :

Commerce Faculty : Timing Morning (English & Gujarati Medium)

  • The college is a grant in-aid college, affiliated to Gujarat University, hence it follows rules of admission etc. of the Gujarat University.
  • At present the University follows the system of online admissions at First Semester Commerce. The college is allotted students as per merit.
  • The students have to study nine papers at each of the six semesters.
  • The college offers the subject of Advanced Accounts and Auditing as the Core and Statistics/ Secretarial Practice as subsidiary subject.

Post Graduate Commerce Faculty Master of Commerce(English & Gujarati Medium) Timing : Afternoon

  • The college is a grant in-aid college, affiliated to Gujarat University, hence it follows rules of admission etc. of the Gujarat University
  • At present the University follows the system of online admissions at First Semester M.Com. The college is allotted students as per merit. (100 granted seats and 25 self-finance seats per division)
  • The students have to study six papers in each of the four semesters.
  • The college offers the subject Group E- Account Auditing.
